Fibre Channel Interface

The easyRAID Q12+F2R2 has dual 2 Gbit fibre channel interfaces. Each interface can be used with 
optical or copper transceivers and cables. Follow these instructions to make optical connections.

Insert the LC Optical SFP transceiver (

A

) in to the easyRAID Q12+F2R2 FC CH 2 

(secondary fibre channel) at the rear of the disk array system.

Connect the optical cable (

B

) to the LC Optical SFP transceiver (

A

).

Fibre Channel Daisy Chaining

Four-port models can be daisy chained as shown in the following diagram.
