Set-up
The solar lamp should not be placed near to other light sources
such as street lamps or other lamps, so that the LEDs can be swit-
ched on automatically.
Position the solar lamp so that the solar panel is able to absorb
direct sunlight the whole day preferably.
Please Note:
The solar lamp is splashproof (IP44). Nevertheless,
we recommend installing it in a location outdoors where it is pro-
tected from rain to ensure that it works perfectly.
Mounting
1. Place the solar lamp against the wall and mark out two drill
holes.
2. Drill holes into the wall and place dowels and screws in them.
3. Hang the solar lamp on the screws.
Switching on and off
1. The On / Off switch is located on the backside of the solar
lamp. Slide the On / Off switch to the
ON
position to activate
the solar lamp.
The storage battery can now charge up in daylight. When dark-
ness sets in, the LEDs automatically switch on. When it gets
light, the LEDs switch off and the storage battery is charged up
via the solar panel.
Before the LEDs can illuminate, the battery must be charged
up for approx. 6 to 8 hours.
2. When the solar lamp is not being used switch it off by sliding
the On / Off switch to the
OFF
position.
PLEASE NOTE:
Storage battery power can be severely impacted
by extremely low temperatures.
Cleaning
Keep the solar panel clean to ensure maximum possible light ab-
sorption. Wipe the solar panel (and other elements on the product
if necessary) with a damp cloth.
