Start-up
When using the product for the
fi
rst time, approximately
8 hours of direct sunlight are required to fully charge the
storage battery.
The motion sensor (
4
) automatically activates at dusk.
If the sensor detects a moving object within a radius
of approximately 6 metres, the spotlight will turn on for
approximately 15 seconds and then automatically turn off.
At dawn, the motion sensor will turn off and the storage
battery will be recharged via the solar unit (
2
).
1. Unpack the product and remove all protective foils and stickers.
Check that the product contents are complete and that they
do not exhibit any transport damages. Should you identify any
transport damages, please promptly consult the customer ser-
vice department.
2. If possible, mount the spotlight in a position where the solar
fi
eld
is exposed to direct sunlight (preferably from the south) the whole
day if possible and where there are no obstacles such as parking
cars, fences or trees, which restrict the range of the sensor.
3. Hold the wall bracket (
1
) on the selected area and mark two
drill holes.
Please note: The wall bracket (
1
) and the connecting joint (
5
)
have already been assembled.
4. Drill the holes, insert the enclosed dowels in the holes and screw
the wall bracket (
1
)
fi
rmly into place using the enclosed screws.
ATTENTION!
Please be absolutely sure to observe the safety
notes for mounting (see section “Safety and care notes”).
5. From above, place the spotlight on the connecting joint plate
(6). The plate must be slid into the recess (
8
) on the bottom of
the spotlight.
6. Set the desired angle of the spotlight and turn the wing nut (
7
)
until tight.
7. Set the angle of both LED lights (
3
) and turn the wing nut (
9
)
until tight.
8. Pull the protective foil off of the solar unit (
2
) and activate the
spotlight by setting the On / Off switch (
11
) on the bottom side
to the
ON
position. Set the switch back to the
OFF
position to
deactivate the spotlight.
Cleaning and storage
ATTENTION!
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning
products or cleaning pads for cleaning the product.
• Clean the solar unit and the spotlight occasionally with a damp
cloth from time to time. Dust and dirt impair the functionality of
the product.
• If you do not intend to use the product for a prolonged period
of time, store it in a clean, dry place that is not accessible for
children or animals.
Disposal
The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the
packaging in an environmentally-friendly manner and
make it available to the collection service for recyclable
materials.
Dispose of the product in an environmentally-friendly
manner. The product does not belong in the household
garbage. Dispose of it at a recycling centre for old electric
and electrical equipment. For more information, please

Batteries and storage batteries must be removed (see
chapter “Removing the storage battery”) and disposed
of separately before disposing of the product. The
rechargeable battery is located in the solar unit. Loosen
the housing screws on the bottom side and disassemble
the housing. Take the storage battery out of the battery
compartment. Two cables and a plug connect the storage
battery to the board. Pull the plug out of the socket. You
can now dispose of the storage battery separately.
To protect the environment, rechargeable batteries
may not be disposed of together with normal household
waste. Instead they must be turned in at appropriate
collection points. Please also observe applicable
statutory provisions regulating the disposal of batteries.
