Intended Use

•  The device is intended to be used to cool and humidify air. It is 

a table air cooler which is only suitable for small areas of. The 
device is not a substitute for an air-conditioning system.

•  The device is designed for personal use only and is not intend-

ed for commercial applications.

•  Use the device only for the intended purpose and as described 

in the instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper. 

•  The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused 

by improper handling, damage or unauthorised attempts at re-
pair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

WARNING – Danger of Fire and Explosion! 

 

The device is not authorised for use in potentially ex-
plosive areas. 

 

Do not use the device together with or in the immediate 
vicinity of air fresheners or similar products.

 

WARNING – Danger of Burns from Battery Acid!

 Batteries 

can be deadly if swallowed. Keep batteries and the device out 
of the reach of small children and animals. If a battery is swal-
lowed, seek medical assistance immediately.

 

CAUTION – Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! 

If a battery 

leaks, avoid physical contact with the battery acid, and wear 
protective gloves if necessary. If you touch battery acid, rinse 
the affected area with abundant fresh water immediately and 
contact a doctor as soon as possible.

 

CAUTION – Danger of Injury! 

Do not leave small children or 

animals unsupervised with the device. They could open the de-
vice and injure themselves on the rotating impeller.

NOTE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property

 

Use only the battery type speci

 ed in the “Technical Data”.

 

Take batteries out of the device when they are dead or if you 
will not be using the device for a prolonged period. This will 
prevent any damage if a battery leaks.

 

Do not use the device if a battery has leaked. Clean the battery 
compartment immediately with a damp cloth and then dry it. 
The device can only be used once it has been cleaned.

 

Batteries must not be charged or reactivated in any way, disas-
sembled, thrown into a 

fi

 re, immersed in liquids or short-circuit-

ed.

 

No liquid must not get into the bottom of the device. Do not im-
merse it in water or expose it to persistent moisture! Only the 
water tank and the lamella insert may become wet.

 

Protect the device from: impacts, 

fi

 re, heat, direct sunlight, sub-

zero temperatures.

 

Do not use any additional accessories not recommended by 
the manufacturer.

 

Do not lay or place any heavy objects on the device.

 

In the event of damage / faults, switch the device off immedi-
ately. Do not use the device if it is damaged.

 

Do not make any changes to the device and do not attempt to 
repair it. In the event of any damage, please contact our cus-
tomer service department.

 

Some items of furniture have coatings which might attack the 
rubber feet of the device. If necessary, a mat should therefore 
be placed under the device.

 

Do not insert anything into the openings of the device and make 
sure that these are not blocked. The device must not be used 
with blocked openings.

 

Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for clean-
ing. These can damage the surface.

Before Initial Use

1.  Check the device for any transport damage. If you 

fi

 nd  any 

damage to the device, do not use it (!), but contact our customer 
service department. Remove any possible transport protection.

2.  The device is designed to be operated on both mains power and 

battery power. For battery mode, four 1.5 V batteries of type C 
must be inserted into the battery compartment (

) (see “Insert-

ing Batteries”). These are not supplied with the device. 

3.  The items supplied include a USB cable to connect the device 

to the plug socket. In addition, a USB mains adapter (not sup-
plied with the device) which matches the technical data of the 
device (see rating plate or the “Technical Data” section) is re-
quired.
