TRANsfERRING fIlEs To THE PlAyER
As soon as a removable disk representing the player appears on the computer, you may copy your
music files (MP3, WAV, WMA, AVI, JPEG, etc.) exactly the same way than any other file on any
disk drive or folder. In this case, the destination drive will be the removable disk that represents the
player.
1. open Windows Explorer. To do so, right-click on “Start” and select “Windows Explorer”.
2. In Windows Explorer open the drive and folder where your files are located (for example, the
CD drive, if you wish to copy files from CD to the player.
3. Highlight the desired files with the mouse. If necessary, keep the Shift or Ctrl keys pressed to
select multiple files.
4. select the “Copy” command from the “Edit” menu in Explorer.
5. open the removable disk that represents your player and the select the “Paste” command from
the “Edit” menu in Explorer. Your files will be copied onto the player.
You can manage your files on the player the same way than on any other disk drive, i.e. you may
also delete, move or rename them. All this is performed by using the conventional file management
functions under Windows.
sAfEly REMoVING THE PlAyER fRoM THE CoMPUTER
It is not recommended to simply unplug the cable between the computer and player after you
have finished transferring the files. otherwise loss of data and/or damage to the player may occur.
Before you can unplug the cable you must shut down the player properly in your operating system
