MOUNTING THE CANOPY
Place assembled canopy into position and mark the drill area through the holes on the canopy bracket.
Before drilling any holes ensure you are completely happy with the position, that there are no electrical
cables or pipes that can be damaged and that the position is not going to cause any obstruction of
possible injury. Where you have marked the four holes, use a 10mm bit to drill to a depth of 7cm.
With two people holding the canopy in place, insert the 4 x Expanding Bolts
(5)
through the brackets
and into the drilled holes. You may need to tap these home with a hammer or mallet.
Use a 13mm spanner to tighten the expanding bolts, ensuring the brackets are secured tightly to the
wall. For improved water resistance you can use a waterproof sealant around the edges of the canopy
board, but it is entirely optional.
