Playback

Press Tape button (23) to activate tape function

Press eject to open drawer, put in the cassette tape and close drawer.

Press play key to activate playback

Adjust the volume control to the desired level.

Use pause key when you want to stop playback temporarily. (Do not pause for long periods)

Press stop / eject key when finished.
Recording
A. Recording from tape (deck 2 to deck 1)
This unit enables you to duplicate a pre-recorded tape to another tape. It is performed only one way from deck 2
(playback) to deck 1 (recording).
Dubbing at normal speed

Press the Tape function button (23).

Inset a pre-recorded cassette into deck 2 and a blank cassette tape into deck 1.

Press the Pause key and then press the Record and Play key on deck 1.

Press the Play key to start playback on deck 2 & then press Pause key on deck 1 to start dubbing.

Press Pause key on deck 1 & Stop key on deck 2 when finish.
Dubbing at high speed
This unit is quipped with a high speed dubbing system which can save the time for dubbing by 2/3rds when compare to
normal speed.

Press the Dubbing speed button (6), out is for “Nor” normal speed dubbing and in is for “ Hi “ High speed dubbing.
Then follow the same procedures as stipulated in “Dubbing at normal speed”.

When dubbing a pre-recorded cassette tape at high speed, a chattering sound can be heard. To avoid this, set
the volume control to a minimum level.

Do not press the dubbing speed button (6) during dubbing, this will vary the speed of recording and may damage
the cassette tape.
B. Recording from radio

Press Tuner button (23) to activate radio mode

Tune to the desired station and insert a blank cassette tape in deck 1.

Press Record & Play key to start recording.

Press Pause keys and then “Stop/Eject” key when finish.
C. Recording from CD

Press the CD button (23).

Insert a blank cassette tape in deck 1 which suitable for recording.

Press Pause key first and then Record & Play key on the cassette. Recording function is now on standby.

Press play on the CD player, and then the press Pause key on the cassette to start recording.

To stop recording, press Stop button (17) on CD player first, then press the Pause key and then Stop/Eject key on
cassette tape deck.
D. Recording from turntable

press Phono button (23) to activate turntable mode

Insert a blank cassette tape in deck 1.

press Record & Play key to start recording.

Start playback of the record

Press Pause keys and then Stop/Eject key on the tape deck when finished.
More features
A. Sleep setting
1. Press & hold the Sleep/Timer button (8), to activate & adjust the sleep timer in the order of 90 > 80 >70….10
minutes automatically.
2. System will play and then go to standby mode automatically after the selected time.
3. To cancel the sleep mode, press and hold Sleep/Timer button until “SLEEP” indicator disappears.
B. Timer setting (On remote control only)
This function allows the system to turn on automatically and wake you up with CD music, Phono, Tape or radio.
1) Set the unit in standby mode
2) Press the Mode button on remote handset, the LCD display will show the information in the following order:-
a) Current time – As this suggests, the current set time
