USING THE CORDLESS BED VAC AROUND THE HOME

•  Carefully unpack the Cordless Bed Vac and all the parts included. Check that you have received all

the parts stated in the ‘parts’ section of the instructions before use

•  Attach the AC/DC adapter to the Cordless Bed Vac and insert the plug into your mains outlet. It is

recommended you charge the bed vac for up to 8 hours upon first use. This will ensure the battery is

fully charged and can be used without the aid of the power lead. For all future uses it is only necessary

to charge the bed vac for up to 3 hours between uses. There is no indicator light to alert you if the

Cordless Bed Vac needs recharging, however if the UV light is not showing and you experience loss in

suction it is recommended that you recharge the bed vac or attach the mains lead.

Please Note:

Do not charge the bed vac for more than 4 hours.

•  Place the bed vac onto your chosen surface, ensuring all 3 micro safety wheels are in contact with the

surface. Turn on the bed vac using the On/Off switch - this is located on the top of the handle.

Please Note:

The Cordless Bed Vac can be used with the bedding in place but it is recommended that you remove

any bedding when cleaning your mattress, this will aid in the removal of any house dust mites, bed

bugs and their waste. The integrated vacuum grill has been designed to prevent bed sheets and other

materials from blocking the vacuum aperture on the base of the Cordless Bed Vac; this will allow easy

cleaning with your bed sheets in place if required.

Please Note:

There are 2 UV indicator lights located on each side of the bed vac head; these will glow blue when

the unit is on and all 3 micro safety wheels are pressed down correctly. The 3 micro wheels are a

safety feature of the bed vac and are used to ensure the UV bulb is not activated by the user by

accident. Never touch or look directly at the UV light when it is activated.

•  Position the bed vac flat on the surface of the mattress and begin to move it smoothly and steadily

across your mattress (please see example diagrams below)

•  Avoid leaving the bed vac in one area for more than 5 SECONDS as this may lead to discolouration

of your mattress due to the high intensity of the UV bulb. Moving the bed vac slowly will ensure more

dust mites, bed bugs, their waste and bacteria is exposed to the UV-C rays and collected by the

vacuum.
