You must read this manual carefully prior
to installation and operation, and keep it to
hand in your vehicle.
1.1 Product description
By choosing the app controller, you have made using
your easydriver a piece of cake. All you now need to
operate your caravan/trailer is the app on a compatible
smartphone/tablet – although you can continue to use
the normal remote control too.
1.2 Scope of supply
1.3 Compatibility
The easydriver app for iOS devices has been designed
for the iPhone 4S or iPad 3 and above, running iOS
software version 8.3 or later. The app will only display
in portrait mode and can be downloaded from the iOS
App Store.
For Android systems, the easydriver app is available for
Android version 4.4.3 or later and can be downloaded
from the Google Play Store.
1.4 Information to note
During development, the easydriver app was tested
on a wide variety of smartphones and tablets running
what were the very latest software releases at the time
(iOS/Android). Reich GmbH will continue to take rea-
sonable steps to test the app on various smartphone/
tablet models with different software versions. Howe-
ver, Reich GmbH cannot guarantee that future software
updates to the operating system (iOS/Android) and by
the smartphone/tablet manufacturer will not affect the
function of the app.
Should the easydriver app not work cor-
rectly, close it immediately. This is the only
way to stop it communicating with the base
station. If this happens, please e-mail Reich (info@
reich-easydriver.com), stating your smartphone/tablet
model, the operating system version (iOS/Android)
and the internal software.
The installer is responsible for correct and proper
mounting; we recommend having this work performed
by an easydriver service station at the very least.
