Storage
All parts must be completely dry before being stored.
− Always store the sewing machine in a dry area.
− Protect the sewing machine from direct sunlight.
− Store the sewing machine so that it is not accessible to children, securely
locked away and at a storage temperature between 41 °F and 68 °F (+5 °C
and +20 °C - room temperature).
Troubleshooting
Problem Possible cause Solution
No power or the sewing
machine runs slowly Batteries are installed
incorrectly Reinstall the batteries,
making sure the
polarity (+/–) is correct.
Batteries are low Install new batteries.
Incorrect or defective
power adapter Use the correct and
functioning power
adapter
Skipping stitches Needle eye not in the
middle Remove and re-insert
the needle with the flat
side of the needle to
the back.
Needle bent Insert a new needle.
Presser foot too loose Tighten the presser
foot.
Bobbin thread cannot
be drawn up Lower thread has been
used up Replace with a full
bobbin.
Needle threaded
incorrectly Re-thread the needle,
making sure it is
threaded from front to
back.
Thread keeps breaking Needle bent Insert a new needle.
Needle shank not
properly seated Remove and re-insert
the needle.
Thread tension dial,
thread guide, or thread
pulling bar too tight Loosen the thread
tension number to
between 3 and 5.
