Five simple steps for 

successful steam ironing

1. Removing the protective cover

•  Peel the protective cover off the  

soleplate

•  Wipe down the soleplate with a soft, 

damp cloth. 

2. Adding water

•  Hold the steam iron at a slight angle 

and lift the water tank lid

•  Use the enclosed measuring cup

 to 

fill the water tank

 with tap water.

•  Close the water tank lid. It will “click” 

when securely closed. 

3. Plugging in the steam iron

•  Plug steam iron into a properly installed 

power outlet. The power LED

 will 

illuminate.
