• The device is intended for domestic, not commercial use.
• Only use the device as described in this instruction manual. Any
other use is deemed improper.
• Defects arising due to improper handling, damage, calci fi cation
or attempts at repair are excluded from the guarantee. This also
applies to normal wear and tear.
Safety notes
Risks of injury
• The plastic foils and bags pose a suffocation hazard! Keep chil-
dren and animals away from the packaging material.
• Children and animals must be under supervision to ensure that
they do not play with the device or accidentally burn themselves.
Explain the potential risks associated with this device to children.
• Burn hazard! The device becomes very hot during use and re-
mains hot for a short time after deactivation. Therefore, only
take hold of the device by the handle. Always let the device cool
off completely before you clean or stow it.
• Ensure that the connected mains cord does not pose a tripping
hazard. Do not leave the cord unattended when it is hanging
down from a table or similar if children or animals are nearby.
They could pull the device down with it.
• Never leave the device unattended when plugged in to the
mains supply. Pull the mains plug in case of longer breaks.
• Store the device so that it is not accessible to children or animals!
Risk of electric shock and fi re
• Only connect the device to a properly installed socket with pro-
tective earth contacts. The socket must also be easily accessi-
ble after connecting so that the mains connection can be quickly
disconnected. The mains voltage must correspond to the techni-
cal data of the device. Only use proper extension cords, whose
technical data correspond to those of the device.
• Do not connect the device with other electrical devices to a mul-
ti-plug connector to avoid overloading the socket.
