ZIP WATER PURIFIER USER GUIDE
STARTUP AND OPERATING
1.
Remove purifier and contents from box and place on a convenient counter top or table within
three feet (1 meter) of an electrical outlet (fig. 1) and in a clean and dry environment.
2.
Equipment must be operated on a level surface and not inclined. (fig. 2)
3.
Plug the transformer wire into the power socket on the back of the Zip.
4.
Plug the electric cable into an electrical socket.
5.
Remove the supply reservoir from its base by pulling out on the front handle (fig 3)
6.
Place the reservoir under a tap and fill to the
“
Max
”
level marked on the front of the dispenser
(fig. 4)
7.
Replace the supply reservoir to the base of the Zip, making sure that the container is securely
seated into the base (fig 5)
8.
Turn the control dial from the
“0”
position to the
“1”
position. (fig. 7)
If your Zip has a push button control, press this once.
The purifier will draw water from the supply reservoir and direct purified water to the Pure Water
Tank. A full course of treatment produces approximately 1/2 gallon (2 litres) of pure water, stored on
the upper reservoir. The reject water is directed back to the supply reservoir for recycling, allowing
optimum performance.
To dispense purified water, either push in or pull out on the dispenser handle. When pulled out, the
handle will stay in the open position. (fig. 8)
