4. HOW TO SET UP THE UNIT
4.1 Control Panel

For DMX512 linking, use a 3-pin XLR plug cable to input the DMX signal.

For DMX512 linking, use a 3-pin XLR plug cable to link up to the next unit.

4.2 Main Functions

For example:
Select only 1: address code = 000000001b = 1
Select only 9: address code = 100000000b = 256
Select 1 and 2: address code = 000000011b = 3
Select 1 and 9: address code = 100000001b = 257
9 or 8 10 Sound activated mode. Use a combination of the
DIP switches 1 and 2 to adjust sensitivity.
7 10, 9, 8 Gradual change mode. Use a combination of the
DIP switches 1 and 2 to adjust speed.
6 10, 8, 7, 6 Jump mode. Use a combination of the DIP swit-
ches 1 and 2 to adjust jump speed and a combi-
nation of the DIP switches 4 and 5 to adjust the
strobe speed.
1 or 2 or 3 6~10 Dimmer mode. Use the DIP switches 1, 2 and 3 to
turn the lights on and the DIP switches 4 and 5 to
set the strobe speed.
5. DMX512 CONFIGURATION
Channel Value Function
CH1 0-255 Master dimmer
CH2 0-27 Dimmer, 0 means that the lights are out
28~67 Strobe effect 1, speed from slow to fast
68~107 Strobe effect 2, speed from slow to fast
108~147 Strobe effect 3, speed from slow to fast
148~187 Strobe effect 4, speed from slow to fast
188~255 Strobe effect 5, speed from slow to fast
