5. HOW TO CONTROL THE UNIT
You can operate the unit in two ways:
1. By master/slave built-in preprogram
function
2. By DMX controller
5.1 Master/slave built in preprogram-
med function
By linking the units in master/slave
connection, the first unit will control the
other units to give an automatic, sound
activated, synchronized light show.
This function is ideal when you want an
instant show. You have to set the first
unit in Automatic, sound-activated mode.
Nothing should be plugged into its DMX
input jack. On the other units, you have to
select A001, their DMX cables have to be
plugged into the DMX input jacks (daisy
chain) and the slave LED lights will be
constantly on.
5.2 DMX Controller
You can also use a universal DMX control-
ler to control the units. To do so, you have
to set the DMX address from 1 to 512
channels so that the units can receive a
DMX signal. Press the MODE/ESC button
until the message A001 appears on the
display. Press the ENTER button and the
display blinks. Use the DOWN and UP
buttons to change the DMX512 address.
Once the address has been selected,
keep the ENTER button pressed until the
display stops blinking, conversely the unit
will automatically store the address after
8 seconds. To go back to the functions
without making any change, press the
MODE/ESC button again.

4.2 Main Functions
To select any function, press the MODE/ESC button until the required one appears on
the display. Press the ENTER button to select the function and the display will blink.
Use the DOWN and UP buttons to change the mode. Once the required mode has been
selected, press the ENTER button to validate. If you want to exit the function without
entering any change, press the MODE/ESC button.
