Turn the power of all devices off before you make any
connections in order to avoid damaging your equipment.
• The INPUT and BYPASS jacks are mono. Stereo (TRS)
cables will not work.
• Connect a cable from your instrument to the INPUT jack
of the tuner. When connecting, A4 Frequency and the
display mode will be shown separately for 2 seconds in
the note name display. The BYPASS is then activated. The
tuning Guide LEDs will also light up to indicate the display.
The left LED indicates the A4 frequency and the right one
indicates the display mode.
Note: Connecting a cable to the INPUT jack will turn the
power on, but the tuner will not be in tuner mode. Press the
Tuner ON/OFF switch to engage the tuner mode.
• To save battery life, disconnect the cable from the INPUT
jack when not in use.
BYPASS jack
• Connect a cable from the BYPASS jack to your effect
pedals or amp, etc.
Note: When the tuner is switched on, the signal from the
INPUT jack will be muted for silent tuning. This tuner is
designed with a True Bypass circuit. When the tuner is off,
your tone will not be affected by any circuitry.
DC 9V IN jack
• If you use an DC adapter for power, make sure it is 9V
and at least 600mA.
• Using any other DC adapter may cause a malfunction or
damage.
DC 9V OUT jack
• If you use an DC adapter, you can supply power to one or
several effect pedals with via the DC cascade cable.
PREPARATION/TUNER OPERATION
• Press the Tuner ON/OFF switch to activate the tuner.
The Tuner ON/OFF LED will light up. Because the tuner
features a True Bypass circuit, you can only tune silently,
meaning you will not hear your audio signal through an
amp or any other source.
Note: The Tuner ON/OFF switch only works if an instrument
is connected to the INPUT jack.
• If needed, adjust the calibration and/or select a different
display mode. The tuner comes from the factory with its
calibration set to A4 = 440 Hz and its tuning mode set
