These instructions should be read carefully and left with the user of the
product for future reference.
BEFORE USE
You must inspect the luminaire including its cable for any signs of damage. If the
product is damaged, DO NOT use it, and contact your supplier immediately.
INSTALLATION
Remove the fixing bracket from the body of the luminaire.
Attach the fixing bracket to a wall or post, using screws and, if necessary, wall
plugs.
Fit the body of the luminaire into the fixing bracket.
Connect the luminaire to the electricity supply using the lead provided.
• Brown = live
• Blue = neutral
• Green/yellow = earth
• The luminaire must be earthed.
If mounting outdoors then make sure that the connections are adequately
waterproofed.
The L320DPG incorporates a movement and light-level detector so that it will
only operate when movement is detected and the ambient light is below a
certain level. The controls operate as follows:
TIME
sets the length of time for which the light remains on after movement
ceases to be detected. Rotate clockwise to increase the time delay.
LUX
sets the ambient light level above which the light will not be switched on.
Rotate clockwise to increase the light level. If rotated fully clockwise, then the
light will operate in full daylight.
SENS
sets the sensitivity of object detection. At its maximum the sensor will be
triggered by moving objects about 12 m from the luminaire (depending on the
size and temperature of the object). Reduce the sensitivity to avoid unwanted
triggering
To override the PIR mode, switch the floodlight on for 10 seconds and then
switch off and back on, very quickly. The unit will now stay on until it is
manually switched off. To return the unit to PIR mode, switch the floodlight off
for 10 seconds and then back on. The floodlight is now back in PIR mode.
