of the product which should be kept safely by the user alongside the product.
BEFORE USE
You must inspect the box for any signs of damage. If the product is damaged, DO NOT use it, and contact your supplier
immediately.
PRODUCT SAFETY
This box can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the box in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the box.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Do not use the box for other than its intended use.
Check the product before use for damage. If any damage is detected stop using it immediately and consult your
supplier.
There are no user serviceable parts in this product
GENERAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Domestic wiring must be tested periodically by a qualified electrician at least once every 10 years or at every change of
occupancy. For office and retail premises (and buildings such as village halls) the wiring must be inspected at least once
every 5 years. It is recommended that all buildings be fitted with smoke alarms (it is mandatory for new buildings).
HOW TO USE
Temporary connections
1.
Release the clip on the side of the of the box and open the front cover of the box
2.
Release the cable grip rail that covers the cable entry ports, which is held in place by 2 clips at each end of the rail
3.
Place the required connections inside the box and lie the cables in the cable tracks
4.
Replace the cable grip rail and close and lock the cover
Semi-Permanent fixing
The connection box can be used as a more long-term fixing solution.
1.
On the cable entry side of the box there are 2x blanks that can be knocked out and fitted with a grommet (not
supplied) wiring can be fed through these ports into the main chamber.
2.
The unit can be mounted to a wall using the 4x screw holes in each corner of the unit. Care should be taken to
position the unit the correct way with the cables exiting downwards.
SERVICE WARRANTY
Eagle guarantees the product free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve months.
Should this box be operated under conditions other than those recommended or any attempts made to service
or modify the box, then the warranty will be rendered void.
The product you buy may sometimes differ slightly from illustrations. This warranty is in addition to, and does not
affect, your statutory rights.
Our guarantee is administered by our retailers.
If your product arrives damaged, you must contact the retailer from whom you bought it. The retailer's contact
details will be on the invoice that arrived with the product, or on the e-mail you received when you placed the
order. Do not contact Eagle, only your retailer can arrange a replacement.
