EXP Technology uses a
corona discharge
system to generate
Oxygen ions O
2
+
and O
2
-
at a high density.
These O
2
+
and O
2
-
ions
have high chemical
activity and when
reacting with water
(H2O) molecules in the
air, hydroperoxide H
2
O
2
is formed.
Once airborne, these
hydroperoxides (H
2
O
2
)
then cluster around
harmful pollutants.
A chemical reaction
occurs and the
hydroperoxides (H
2
O
2
)
break down the protein
structure of the
pollutants, rendering
them harmless.
