• If you empty grounds from the appliance, you must first
remove the power connector from the mains, even if you are
using the appliance again straight away to grind more
coffee.
• Never run the appliance empty, with nothing in the coffee
chamber.
• Never use an appliance or accessory that the manufacturer
did not supply with or propose for use with the appliance.
The use of such appliances might lead to accidents or
irregular function.
• Never lay the mains cable beside or across sharp edges or hot
surfaces. Never wrap the mains cable around the cover of the
appliance, do not pull the cable and do not lift the appliance
with the mains cable because the cable can break or the
insulation can be damaged. A damaged cable must be
replaced by an authorised service engineer. The appliance
must not be used or connected to a wall socket if the cable is
damaged.
• The use of the appliance must be avoided in areas where the
temperature is too high or too low or where the appliance is
subject to vibrations. Avoid using the appliance under wet or
vaporous conditions. The appliance can be used within the
temperature range of +10°C to +35°C and stored within the
range of +5°C to +40°C.
