ATV

ATV refers to analogue TV channels which are now only
used in large satellite distribution systems such as
hotels.

DTV

For private TV reception, regardless of which reception
path you use, DTV is the correct setting for digital TV
channels. A simultaneous analogue search does not
have to be carried out.

Note

If you receive television for private use, DTV is usually
the right choice for the type of reception.
Then select the reception mode available to you. Other
settings are usually not necessary.
