Installing / replacing accessories (see fig. 1)
After prolonged operation, the router bit
can become very hot, remove it using
gloves. This will also reduce the risk of
injury by the cutting edge.
•
Turn the power tool upside down�
•
Press the spindle lock

and after making sure that

Release nut

Install / replace the router bit, noting that the rout-
er bit shank must be inserted into the collet

never tighten nut 10 without the router bit - this can
damage collet 19.

After all the operations have been completed, re-
lease spindle lock

Dust suction during

Dust collection decreases dust concentra-
tion in the air and prevents build up of dust at
the work station�
While operating the power tool, always use a
vacuum cleaner suitable for collecting process-gener-
ated dust� A special adapter is used to join the vacuum
cleaner to adaptor

Recommendations
on the power tool operation
Setting milling depth (see fig. 5-8)
The adjustment of the milling depth may
only be carried out when the power tool
is switched off.
•
Install the power tool on the even horizontal surface�
•
Unscrew the locking screws

- this will provide for
the possibility to move the power tool body freely (see
fig. 5.3).
•
Unscrew the locknut

- this will provide for the pos-
sibility to move the milling depth gauge

freely (see
fig. 5.2-5.3).
•
Move the milling depth gauge

upward (see fig. 6.1).
•
Lower the power tool body, so that the end of the
router bit could touch the work piece surface (see
fig. 6.2). Tighten the locking screws

while keeping
the power tool body in this position (see fig. 6.3).

Move the milling depth gauge

downward, till its
end touches the stop lug

(see fig. 7.1). As a result,
you have locked the "zero position"�

To set the milling depth, move the milling depth
gauge

upward (see fig. 7.2) orienting by the scale

(it is recommended to use an additional measurement
tool for more accurate installation)�

Tighten the locknut

Milling direction
Milling should always be performed against
the router bit rotation direction� Otherwise,
the power tool will be subject to jerks, which
may result in the loss of control over it�
General operational recommendations (see fig. 9)
While in operation, be sure to use the
parallel guide 17 - this will provide for the
required control over the power tool.
• Mark out and fix the treated workpiece.
•
Set the required milling depth and lock the power
tool body in this position, as described above�
