7.11 Setting pressure points (BWT PERMAQ

The device is controlled using the switching points

To adjust the target pressure on the frequency converter, configure the following settings on
the frequency converter display:
P-45
1) Press and hold the
OK button
.
2) Use the
up arrow key
to select
P-45
and press the
OK button
to confirm.
3) Use the
arrow keys
to set the desired value and press the
OK button
to confirm.
4) Exit the settings menu by pressing and holding the
OK button
.
Following a drop in pressure (water request from the consumer), it takes approx. 5 seconds for
the device to be able to provide the required target pressure.
7.12 Operation with antiscalant dosing system
If the reverse osmosis device is operated with hard water, a dosing system that is available as
a separate option must be installed to ensure that the optimum permeate yield is produced.
The added quantity of antiscalant is proportional to the raw water flow rate.
The dosing system can be mounted on the left or right side of the RO device based on the
available distances from the walls at the installation location. However, a minimum distance of
1.0
m from the walls and any neighbouring objects should be maintained.
On the micro-dosing pump, the dosing quantities for the antiscalant BWT AQUARIS AF 05
must be set according to the settings in the table below. The micro-dosing pump is controlled
in 1-litre pulses via the water meter fitted on the raw water inlet. This means that the dosage
can always be adjusted to the respective raw water demand.
