Care Instruction
Furniture:
We at dwell take great care in supplying products that are of the best quality. To help prolong the
life of your furniture we recommend the following best of care advice.
Wood / Cabinet:
•
Our furniture will sustain normal wear and tear with general use.
•
Regular cleaning and dusting with a lint-free cloth will help keep your
furniture in good condition.
•
Take care not place your furniture next to radiators or anywhere
subject to any excessive changes in temperature or moisture.
•
Over time, sunlight may cause dark woods to lighten and light woods
to darken.
•
Woods, which are used in the making of our furniture, may expand
and shrink with differences in temperature and humidity throughout its life. Oils in the skin
will accelerate this process and will generally naturally appear darker.
•
We recommend using mats and coasters to protect against any surface damage.
•
Any spillages should be wiped up immediately.
•
To clean the finish surface, wipe with a damp cloth and buff with a dry cloth.
•
Stubborn marks, a solution of mild detergent should be used on the cloth. Silicone based
polishes should not be used on the wood as they will build up and leave a sticky residue on
the surface.
•
Try and prevent from dragging furniture across the floor. It will cause damage to the joints,
and may damage your floor.
•
If you are unsure about how best to clean your furniturewe recommend you consult spe-
cialist cleaner, who can carry out simple refurbishment treatments in the home.
Glass:
•
Toughened or tempered glass is a type of safety glass produced to
increase its strength. Stresses cause the glass, when broken, to crumble
into small granular chunks.
•
While glass is naturally resistant it is best to protect the surface with
mats and coasters to prevent scratches or heat distortion.
•
Clean glass using a quality glass cleaner to avoid streaks. Always follow
the instructions.
