The back balance weight / External Batt.
DvRigPro. Is supplied with a 0.5 Kg. back balance weight. The weight can be replaced
with any kind of External Battery to power your camera light or an External Disc
recorder
The supplied Velcro strap can secure the External Device.
For heavier setups, additional weights and longer screw can
be ordered.
Using the DvRigPro.
Pick up the Rig with your left hand holding the left handle bar, and your right hand
holding the shoulder support. Put The Rig on your shoulder; Make sure you are
comfortable with it.
Take your left hand from the left handlebar and pull out the suspension pod from the
holder (4). Insert it into the belt holster.
Lower the Rig and position the Pod’s tip into the spring insert, Push it down slightly and
it will lock into place.
While pressing the Rig down, Gently and carefully release the Locks.
The active pod is now supporting the rig’s weight. And you are ready to go!
Make final adjustments for best position, comfort and performance.
Adjustments
Make yourself comfortable. Stand straight and lose. Adjust the large back elevation
knob (2) so that your shoulder will fit into its place in the rig’s shoulder brace.
Move the shoulder brace back and forward until it fills comfortable, Best position is
when the chassis is Horizontal.
For best performance always apply forward pressure on the handlebars. This will keep
the Shoulder brace in the right position,
Release the camera plate locking-lever and position the camera back for using the
viewfinder or forward for using the LCD monitor. Lock the camera to the desired
position.
Slightly release the camera’s horizontal position knob (3) and move it left or right
opposite to your eye. Keep your head straight; do not stretch your neck. Adjust to feel
Comfortable. Slightly lock at the desired position.
If you cannot reach the camera’s viewfinder comfortably, reposition the camera further
back on the camera plate.
Taking the Rig off
First lock all locking knobs.
Then pull the Rig down and secure the pod’s locks.
Now take out the Suspension Pod and secure it in the spring holders.
Take the Rig off and put it on the ground or on any other flat surface,
You can use the Light Stand adaptor (Optional) and mount the rig on any standard light
stand.
