How-to

Macerator will not start

Macerator works, does
not discharge or
discharges slowly.

Electrical supply

Outlet pipe or unit
blocked.

Check wiring / switches /

Fuse / Circuit breaker

Cassette disassembly
required for servicing.

Thermotrip motor
protection

Wait 20 min (aprox). If
you hear a buzz without
further movement pump
might be blocked.

Macerator does not
stop.

Outlet pipe too high or
too long.

The outlet pipework is
restricted

The internal pressure
switch has failed.

Cassette disassembly
required for servicing.

Clean the outlet pipe
and/or the NRV.

Extract the complete
cassette before replacing
the pressure switch.
