System Description
The DC Box is constructed as a fume-cupboard
with a door for the input and output of equipment.
The DC Box is equiped with ventilation, source
extraction, lighting and compressed air. A disposal
sack for the heavy dust and old
fi
lters is mounted
on the bottom of the DC Box.
When pulling heavy machines in and out of the
DC Box a trolley can be used.
Operating
Cleaning of equipment:
- Put the equipment in a room intended for
contaminated machines (near the DC Box).
- On a dust extraction;
fi
rst remove the hose
and other accessories. Put some tape on the
openings of the hose. After that clean them in
the DC Box.
- Put the dust extraction on the trolley.
- Check that the DC Box power control is on.
- Start the DC Box ventilation.
- Open the door of the DC Box and put the
trolley inside.
- Close the door.
- Remove the plastic bag on the dust extraction
and put it into the disposal sack of the
DC Box.
- Remove the
fi
lter of the dust extraction.
- Turn off the ventilation, and use the dust
extraction to clean the
fi
lter.
- Turn on the ventilation.
The three openings on the front side are intended
for the operator to use when cleaning equipment.
Two of them are for the operator’s hands and one
of them is to be used as an air inlet.
The cleaning of equipment is done with different
suction tools, compressed air and brushes.
- Clean the rest of the dust extraction with the
DC Box air pressure tool.
- Turn off the ventilation and use the dust
extraction to clean the the DC Box (including
the trolley).
- Turn on the ventilation.
- After 3 minutes; open the door.
- Remove the dust extraction.
- If nessecary, clean the dust extraction trolley
separately as above.
- After cleaning, close the door of the DC Box,
turn of the ventilation and the lighting.
Emptying the disposal sack:
- When the disposal bag is full, tighten and seal
it. Turn on the ventilation in the DC Box before
removing the sack. Put a new sack into the
DC Box.
