Service
With cleaning and maintenance on the machine,
the power cable should be disconnected from the
supply. Fluids should not come into contact with
the motor. When cleaning with
fl
uids the motor
should be covered to anoid contact.
The
fi
ne
fi
lter should be changed at least once per
year. Use only original spare parts. The micro
fi
lter/
HEPA
fi
lter, should be changed every 300 run-
ning hours. Use breathing protection during a
fi
lter
change. The operation should be performed in
a closed area. Used
fi
lters should be sealed in a
plastic sack and disposed of properly.
Check regularly that the electrical cable is not
damaged.
The DC 3900 should be performance tested at
least once per year because it may be used with
hazardous materials. Worn parts must be repla-
ced. Never compromise the function of the DC
3900, use only original spare parts.
For vacuum motor the typical average life of the
original brushes is 600 - 700 hours. They can then
be exchanged or complete motor/fan replaced.
For 2nd brush set life is ca. 400 hours and for 3rd
brush set ca. 300 hours. After that the commutator
is worn out and the motor needs to be replaced.

The warranty period for this machine is two years
and covers manufacturers faults. The warranty is
valid under the condition that the machine is used
under normal conditions on the task for which it
was designed and is maintained properly. Normal
wear is not covered by this warranty.
Warranty
Service performed by other than Dustcontrol or its
authorized agent voids automatically the warranty.
No other warranty express or implied is applicable.
Operation
• Cut the 4 tapes that hold the bag magazine
together and pull the inner end of the bag
upwards over the rubber strip. Then secure the
bag with the strap. Pull the outer end over the
holder, and tie a cable tie in place as a bottom
closure.
