pluMbing installation
Equipment:
n
All DUSCHOLUX whirlpools are prepared ready for connection
n
All models come with a frame including tub feet as well as a drain and overflow fitted.
n
All bathtubs have a functional and leak test completed at the factory before they are delivered.
Installation preparation:
n
Clean the area below the bathtub thoroughly in order to prevent any debris being drawn
into the fan.
n
Only assemble the tub on a surface which is suitable for use in a wet room (tiled or sealed floor)
n
Install the whirlpool in front of a tiled wall
n
Soundproofing: When installing, pay attention to DIN 4109 or SIA 181
(soundproofing in building construction)
Assembly:
n
The whirlpool can be height adjusted to level it
n
Install the bathtub anchors and supports on the walls in accordance with the instructions
n
Install the bathtub in accordance with the sketch; the BSD (body sound damping) plumbing tape
absorbs any body-borne noise
n
When installation is finished seal any open joints with sanitary silicone
