8. Set-up
8.1 Room for set-up
• The room temperature must not fall below +
10 °C in winter and in summer must not rise
above + 40 °C�
• Installation in purpose-built rooms, e�g� boiler
room, must first be checked against existing
building regulations�
• installation in wet rooms is not permitted�
• Do not set up the VistaScan Net in the vicinity
of the patients�
8.2 Set-up alternatives
• VistaScan Net can be set up next to the
VistaScan�
Danger of overheating!
In order to dissipate the heat gene-
rated, the ventilation slots must not
be covered.
• When set-up is carried out in a cupboard or
drawer etc� then adequate ventilation must be
provided�
9. Connection
All cables etc must be laid such that
no mechanical tension is exerted on
them.
• Connect the mains cable to the appliance po-
wer unit and to the mains supply� Connect the
cable from the power unit to the VistaScan
Net unit�
• Connect the Network cable into the connec-
tion on the VistaScan Net to connect to the
Network�
• Connect the VistaScan and VistaScan Net to-
gether by using the data cable via the parallel
port�
