INSTALLATION OF THE FAUCET
1
New Faucet Preparation
Shut off the water supply and remove the
old faucet by disconnecting it from the
supply tubes under the sink, and
unscrewing the faucet from the countertop
by removing the mounting nuts. Clean off
the sink top surface in preparation for the
new faucet.
2
Install Faucet on Sink Top
Place the faucet in position on the sink top
and secure it using the washers and
locknuts provided.
2
Install Pull-Down Sprayer &
Weight
With the pull-down sprayer locked into the
faucet spout, install the provided weight
assembly onto the spray hose by slipping
the weight over the hose and screwing it to
tighten in place. Weight may be placed
along hose depending on preference.
Next, Connect end of spray hose under the
sink to the braided nylon hose on the
faucet.
3
Install Faucet Hoses
Attach the water supply hoses to the water
supplies with appropriate connectors.
Next, connect left tube to the hot and right
tube to the cold. Once this is complete,
you can test the faucet by turning on the
water
supplies
and
checking
all
connections for leaks. Allow both the hot
and cold water to run for at least 30 to 60
seconds each.
4
Test Hand Spray & Flush
Lines
Remove the aerator (or spray head). Pull
down the sprayer and direct the spray into
the sink. Operate the faucet handles in
both cold and hot positions to flush water
lines thoroughly. Place the sprayer back
into the locked position and operate the
handle and check all connections for leaks.
To check sprayer operation, push the
button for gentle spray and then push
again for the aerated stream. Reinstall
aerator or spray head. Once all this is
completed, your Dura Faucet is ready to
use!
