3.0 INSTALLATION

3.5 DUCT CONNECTIONS

All ducts shall be made according to local and/
or national codes and also with good duct
installation practice. Minimize static losses by
limiting the number of bends.

Suspended duct work with flexible hangers
shall not be fastened directly to the unit.

A length of straight duct shall be installed as
per Figure 3.5. This is to ensure uniform flow
of discharge air. If an elbow need to be
installed, then it shall be 1.5 of equivalent duct

Note: Traps should be provided for every 20 ft [6.1m] of vertical riser for proper oil movement.
