Passenger seat catch and helmet hook
Opening
(fig. 26)
Insert the key in lock (1) and turn it clockwise until you hear
the seat catch click in place.
Lift the seat rear end (2) and pull it backward to slide it out
from the front supports.
Closing
Rest the seat on fuel tank retainers, pull it back until you
hear it click in place.
Push on the seat rear end until hearing the catch click in
place.
Make sure the seat is properly secured, try pushing the
seat upward.
The hook for the helmet cable is located under the
passenger seat. Route cable (A) in the helmet and insert
the ends in the hook. Leave helmet hanging on the left
side (fig. 27) and refit the seat to secure it in place.
Warning
This system is intended to lock your helmet safely
when you park your motorcycle. Never leave the helmet
hanging from the hook when riding or it may get in the way
and make you lose control of the motorcycle.
The cable is to be fitted on the left side. If fitted in any
other position, it will prevent the seat from closing.
