Note

Remove the left cowling to reach the main fuse

(see “Charging the battery” on page 179).

The main fuse (C, fig. 175) is positioned next to the
battery, on the solenoid starter (D). Remove the fuse
cap (E) to reach it.
A blown fuse is identified by the interrupted center
link (F, fig. 176).

Important

To prevent short circuits, replace the fuse after

Never use a fuse with a rating other than

specified. Failure to observe this rule may damage
the electric system or even cause fire.
