Kupplungshebel  

(Abb. 7)

Der für das Auskuppeln zuständige Hebel (1) ist mit
einem Regulierknopf (2) ausgestattet, über den sein
Abstand zum Lenkergriff eingestellt werden kann. 
Für die Regulierung drückt man den Hebel (1) vollständig
nach vorne, hält ihn so ausgerichtet, betätigt dabei den
Regulierknopf (2) und bringt ihn so in eine der vier
vorgesehenen Positionen. 
Dabei ist zu berücksichtigen, dass:
die Position Nr. 1 dem maximalen Abstand zwischen
Hebel und Griff entspricht, während man in der Position
Nr. 4 den minimalen Abstand erhält.
Wird der Hebel (1) betätigt, kommt es zur Unterbrechung
des Antriebs vom Motor zum Getriebe, d.h. also zum
Antriebsrad. Seine Anwendung ist in allen Fahrphasen
des Motorrads von Bedeutung, insbesondere aber beim
Anfahren.

Achtung

Die Regulierung des Kupplungshebels muss an

einem stehenden Motorrad vorgenommen werden.

Wichtig

Ein korrekter Einsatz dieser Vorrichtung wird die

Lebensdauer des Motors verlängern, da so Schäden an
seinen Antriebsorgangen vermieden werden können.
