The above gear ratios are the homologated ones
and under no circumstances must they be modified.
However, if you wish to tune up your motorcycle for
competitive trials, you may refer to Ducati Motor Holding
S.p.A. who will be glad to provide information about the
special ratios available. Contact a Ducati Dealer or
Authorized Workshop.
Warning
If needed, have the rear sprocket replaced by a
Ducati Dealer or Authorized Workshop. If improperly
installed, this component could seriously endanger your
safety and cause irreparable damage to the motorcycle.

Dry clutch operated by a control lever on left handlebar.
Drive is transmitted from engine to gearbox main shaft
via spur gears.
