Powering ON and OFF
To ac�vate the
DT372AP-TR
, push and quickly release the Power Bu�on. The display will
come on in a few seconds. To put the DT372AP-TR in Standby mode, push and quickly
release the Power Bu�on. To turn the
DT372AP-TR
off for extended storage, power off
safely using any so�ware func�on that “shuts down computer” provided in the so�ware
opera�ng system.
NOTE:
The ba�ery pack shipped with your tablet may be low in power. Please use the
AC-DC adapter with the DT372AP-TR when se�ng up for the first �me to fully
charge the ba�ery pack, or use the op�onal ba�ery charger kit.
NOTE:
When the ba�ery pack is charging, the blue-colored Ba�ery LED should blink
slowly. If plugging in the AC-DC adapter does not trigger this blinking ac�vity
and the LED stays dark, the ba�ery pack may have been drained substan�ally.
Try unplugging/ replugging the AC-DC adapter to the DT372AP-TR
a few �mes to
ac�vate the charging process.
NOTE:
To conserve power, use (push and quick release) the Power Bu�on to put the
tablet in “Standby” mode while not in use. Pushing briefly on the same bu�on
will wake up the system within seconds.
NOTE:
Avoid using the Power Bu�on (“hold 4+ seconds” feature) to turn off the tablet—
this form of hardware shutdown is intended to be a means of recovery from
lockups, and not as normal opera�on.

Start Up
If the power up (from Standby mode or otherwise) is successful, the appropriate interface
will be displayed a�er a launch sequence of several seconds. The wireless LAN connec�on
may take 10-15 seconds to be established.
Configuring the Mobile Tablet
The DT372AP-TR
may be configured using the u�li�es and methods dictated by the
so�ware opera�ng system. The

should be configurable for various proper�es
such as user profiles, network features, and several system elements.

The DT372AP-TR
is o�en delivered with an embedded (user-inaccessible) 802.11ac WLAN
adapter equipped with a hidden custom antenna.

hrough the support of typical WLAN adapters, the
DT372AP-TR will detect 802.11
access points in the vicinity for you to select the access point of your choice for
connec�on.
• T
he SSID and WEP/WPA/WPA2 (if enabled) parameters on the
DT372AP-TR and the
access points have to match. The SSID is case-sensi�ve and it is recommended that
you enable WEP/WPA/WPA2 encryp�on (or advanced alterna�ves) for secure access.

When WEP/WPA/WPA2 is enabled, you may need to consult your network admin
-
istrator or your networking equipment literature to properly configure associated
se�ngs such as Authen�ca�on mode, etc.
