GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING

SYMPTOM

SOLUTION

Check the main power cable and that it is 
plugged into a power socket.
Check that the mains power is switched on.

There is no picture.

Ensure that the decoder is switched on (see 
above).
Check that the correct channel has been 
selected on the TV.
Check that you are not in audio services by 
pressing the TV button.

The decoder does not display any 
message on the front panel or the 
decoder has no power.

There is no sound.   

 

       See “No Picture” above.

 

 

 

 

       Check that the volume level of the TV and decoder 

 

 

 

 

       are correct.

 

 

 

 

       Check that the TV or decoder are not in Mute   

 

 

 

 

       mode.

 

 

 

 

       

Remote Control does not work. 

       Point the remote control directly at the decoder  

 

 

 

 

       front panel display. 

 

 

 

        

 

 

 

       Check the batteries of the remote control  

 

 

 

 

 

       and replace if required.
