D-Q-SIT DUO FOAM CORE
2-layer anti-decubitus seat cushion with foam layers spe-
cially coordinated to each other.
Consists of Rubex® HR cold foam; CFC-free; 100% sin-
gle-origin; certified according to Öko-Tex Standard 100,
product class 1
D-Q-SIT PROTECT COVER
Flame-retardant according to BS 7175 Crib 5, waterproof,
breathable, can be disinfected by spraying or wiping,
certified according to ÖkoTex Standard 100.
Use
Take the seat cushion out of the box.
• Check the wheelchair for potential hazards which can
damage the seat cushion; see safety instructions.
• Place the D-Q-SiT Duo seat cushion with the D-Q-SiT
protect cover on the wheelchair such that the hand
strap with the Drive DeVilbiss company logo is at the
front. The Drive DeVilbiss company logo should not be
placed upside down.
Important!
Do not use any other materials between the surface of
the cushion and the user, if possible. This can have a
negative effect on the characteristics of the seat cushion.
Cleaning | Maintenance
Seat cushion core
Can be cleaned by hand. Use a damp (not wet) cloth with
warm water and a mild cleaning solution.
Do not scrub or brush!
D-Q-SIT PROTECT COVER
The cover can be cleaned by hand. To do this, use a
damp (not wet) cloth and a mild cleaning and disinfec-
tant solution. You can also wash the cover in the washing
machine at max. 60°C using a household detergent.
The seat cushion can be disinfected with a spray and
wipe disinfection solution such as Bacilol AF.
During reprocessing of the antidecubitus seat cushion,
take note of the medical device law, the „Guidelines for
the Processing of Medical Devices“ as well as the „Gui-
delines for Hospital Hygiene and Infection Prevention“ of
the Robert Koch Institute.
Maintenance
The antidecubitus seat cushion is maintenance-free!
Storage
• Store the D-Q-SiT seat cushion in a clean and dry
condition.
• Protect the D-Q-SiT seat cushion from direct sunlight.
