STEP 2 - ICS & SOCKETS
Locate and solder 11pcs of TL074. Some ICs have a dot, while oth-
ers have a semicircle cut. On the pcbs the orientation is indicated
as a semi- circle. When your IC does not have a semicircle cut, but
instead it has a dot, the dot should match the semicircle.
BE EXTRA CAREFULL, max soldering temperature should be 300
o
C de-
grees for 10 sec/pad, and if you do spend all 10 sec on a pad, make
sure to leave the IC to cooldown before proceeding to the next.
I usually solder these at 260
o
C for 1-2 sec, with no problems.
Locate 5pcs of 16pin IC socket and 1pcs of 8pin IC socket.
