Before first use
Use clean hands and clean surfaces when handling. Wash all parts prior to use. Before first use, place
nipple/teat in boiling water for five (5) minutes to ensure hygiene. Be sure the nipple/teat hole is clean.
Before each use
Pull on the nipple/teat in all directions before each use to make sure it does not tear. Inspect carefully,
especially when the child develops teeth, and replace the nipple/teat immediately if it shows any signs of
wear or damage, such as cracking or change of shape. Small pieces can accidentally be inhaled and cause
serious injury. Clean before each use. The nipple/teat must be clean and free of obstructions.
Cleaning
Nipples/teats are dishwasher safe (top rack only). Safe for use in electric sterilizer, microwave sterilizer or
boiling water.
For your child’s safety and health
WARNING!
Always use this product with adult supervision. Never use feeding nipples/teats as a pacifier/soother.
Continuous and prolonged sucking of fluids will cause tooth decay. Always check food temperature
before feeding. Remove from your baby’s mouth when the baby is not feeding. Do not leave a feeding
nipple/teat in direct sunlight, heat or leave in sterilizing solution for longer than recommended, as this
may weaken the nipple/teat. Do not turn nipples/teats inside out. Change nipples/teats after approximately
6 weeks of use. When used and sterilized intensively, nipples/teats may deteriorate after 6 weeks.
Reminders
These silicone nipples/teats are made for Dr. Brown’s® baby bottles. Other nipples/teats may not work
properly and can result in feeding problems for your infant. Be sure to contact your physician should you
have any feeding problems or questions.
