Installing Motor
Motor Bracket End

Remove
tape
from
cardboard
tube
and the
motor
bracket
spring
(See Fig. 3).

Thread the
motor
cable
through the
cardboard
tube
and cable exit hole
in
motor
bracket
.
(
See Fig.3 Detail).

The
rope
is pre-assembled in the
siderail
and turned around a
cardboard
tube
.
Slide the
cardboard
tube
over
the
motor
and transfer the
rope
from
cardboard
tube
to
motor
.
Remove the
cardboard
tube
(see Fig. 4).

Place the
motor
into the
motor
bracket
and
replace the
motor
bracket
spring
.
Idler End

Remove the screws from the
bearingholder
(see Fig 5.)
Remove
bearingholder
and
tape
from
cardboard
tube
.

Slide the
cardboard
tube
over the
motor
and
transfer the
rope
from
cardboard
tube
to
mo
-
tor
. Remove the
cardboard
tube
.

:
The idler end will rope placement will
mirror the motor end.
MAKE CERTAIN THAT THE
ROPES ARE NOT CROSSED

Place the
idler
end
of
motor
in the
holder
. Re-attach the
bearingholder
.
You are now ready to install the roller assembly into the

Open cartons lengthwise.

All hardware must be installed level. Shades must be level and square.

Do not wire motors in parallel without written permission from Draper.

Please read the following installation guidelines thoroughly and follow
them carefully. Failure to do so may cause product to fall or otherwise
fail, and invalidates warranty.
Mounting Brackets
1
Mark the desired location of
Mounting Brackets.
A maximum
distance of 40" (1014mm) between brackets is recommended.

Attach
Mounting Brackets
to the mounting surface.
Please Note:
It is the
installers responsibility to
make sure appropriate
fasteners are used for
mounting surface.

Insert
Sliding Bracket
Bolts
(1 per bracket) into
the channel on the bottom
of each section of
siderailing (See Fig. 1).
Assembling and Attaching Siderails
The siderails have been marked prior to shipment with a

Seperate the sections by number and arrange for assembly.

Beginning with Group 1, insert
Siderail Connecting Plate
(see Fig. 2) into the first section of siderail.

Align the pre-drilled holes and attach provided nuts.
4
Slide the next section of siderail over the Connecting Plate,
align the pre-drilled holes and attach the provided nuts.
Continue process until siderail is fully assembled.
5
Repeat for the remaining siderail.
6
Align the Sliding Bracket Bolts with the pre-drilled holes in the
top of the Mounting Brackets and fasten the provided nuts.
