Important Safety Instructions

The lift requires a minimum load of 15 lbs in order to function properly. This can

be achieved by either (1) attaching weight to the mounting brackets, or (2)

manually applying hand pressure at the top of both slides during operation.

Caution:  If manally applying pressure to the top of both slides, keep

hands, clothing and other objects out of the operational area of the lift.

The lift controller has an intermittant two cycle operation—one cycle to its

upper position and one cycle to its lowered position. The controller cycles

should always start in the lowered position. The cycle time is 50 seconds on,

150 seconds off.

The Maximum environment temperature of controller is not to exceed 104° F

 (40°

C).

Do not use this apparatus near water or moisture—for example, in a wet

basement, near a swimming pool, etc.

Do not install near any heat sources, including radiators, heat registers, stoves,

or other equipment (including amplifi ers) that produces heat.

Do not install without proper use of the polarized or grounding plug. A polarized

plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding plug has two

blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is pro-

vided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fi t into your outlet, consult an

 electrician.

plugs, convenience receptacles and the point where the cord exits from the

 apparatus.

Only use attachments/accessories specifi ed by the manufacturer.

12

Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods

 of

time.

fallen into the unit; exposure to rain or moisture; unit not operating normally; or
  unit has been dropped.
