10.  MAINTENANCE

10.8 MACHINE ERROR CODES.

Machine error codes appear in the temperature indication window.

CODE

E0

REASON

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Machine switch in “on” 
position when plugged in.

Power supply switch 
manipulation error.

Turn off the power supply then turn 
off the switch, and turn on the 
power supply then turn on the 
machine.

E1

1. Fuel shortage.

Flame detector 
(photocell tube 
error).

Add fuel.

E2

1. Temperature sensor terminal 

disconnected

Temperature 
perception sensor 
error.

Re-connect temperature sensor

2. Thermostat faulty

Replace thermostat

E3

1. Abnormal overheating

Overheating 
prevention sensor 
error/ conductive 
sensor check

Switch unit off, allow fan to cool 
the machine and leave 15 minutes 
before attempting re-start

2. Product tipped or overturned

Ensure heater is on a flat, stable 
surface

Normal state

In case of below -9ºC

Normal state

2. Photocell faulty

Clean or replace photocell.

3. Imperfect combustion

Remove fuel and add clean fuel.

4. Photocell contaminated

Remove and clean photocell.

5. Blocked / contaminated fuel filter

Clean or replace.

6. Ignition fault

1. Check ignition plug cable
2. Clean and re-gap ignition plug
