OPERATION & USE
NOTE: Remove the plug from the socket before
carrying out any adjustment, servicing or
maintenance.
REMOVING THE BASE (Fig.2.):
Loosen the clamping lever

to remove the base.
NOTE: When refitting the base, ensure the on/off
switch is positioned the same side as the chip
guard.
INSERTING THE BITS (Fig.3 & 4.):
NOTE: Only use cutters of the correct shank
diameter and which are suitable for the speed of
the tool.
With the base removed, press the spindle lock

Unscrew the spindle nut

and remove. Choose
from the three collets provided, the appropriate
size for the cutters shank

", 6mm and 8mm. If the
size is not known insert the bit into the collet. The
collect which offers a machine fit to the bit is the
correct one to use. Do
NOT
force the bit into a
collet.
Place the collet into the spindle and loosely
replace the nut. Slide in the bit allowing approx. 5 -
10mm (or follow the bit manufacturers instructions)
over hang and tighten the nut.
NOTE: Do not overtighten the nut.
WARNING: Take care when handling the cutter bits
as they are extremely sharp.
