Strictly follow the Instructions for Use
Any use of the Dräger pumps requires full understanding and strict ob-
servation of these instructions and the Instructions for Use of the
Dräger pumps.
The equipment is intended only for the use described.
1.2
Accessories
Do not use accessory parts other than those listed in the order list.
Otherwise, the correct function of the Dräger pumps cannot be guaran-
teed.
1.3
Warning messages
These operating instructions refer to a series of warnings concerning
some risks and dangers that could occur when using the equipment.
These warnings contain signal words which will alert you to the degree
of hazard you may encounter. These signal words and corresponding
hazards are as follows:
WARNING
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could
result in death or serious injury.
NOTICE
Additional information on how to use the device.

Intended use
The Dräger-Tubes
TM
with extension hoses make it possible to perform
measurements in connection with the Dräger-Tube pumps Dräger
accuro
®
and Dräger X-act
®
5000 even at inaccessible places as e. g.
sewers, ducts or tank farms

. The extension hose is placed between
the Dräger-Tube and the corresponding Dräger-Tube pump.
Extension hoses with a length of up to 15 m can be used with the
Dräger accuro.
Extension hoses with a length of up to 30 m can be used with the
Dräger X-act 5000.
