Alarm priorities and alarm signals
Alarm messages are color-coded and assigned to three
priority classes by Primus
Infinity Empowered
, depend-
ing on their urgency:
Warning
– Message with highest priority.
– A warning message requires immediate action.
– Text flashes on red background.
– Red LED flashes (A), accompanied by a repetitive
tone sequence.

Technical message
– Yellow LED (A) illuminates continuously without any
acoustic tone.
– These messages must be noted and action taken if
necessary.
Dräger recommends the user to remain close to the an-
esthesia machine, i.e. within a range of up to four
meters (12 feet), to allow for quick recognition and ac-
tion in the event of an alarm.
