The microphone uses a small
diaphragm prepolarized condenser
capsule with a supercardioid pickup
pattern mounted in an interference
tube, which sits inside of a replaceable
foam windscreen.
The interference tube in the 4097
CORE Micro Shotgun increases its
directionality, while maintaining flat on-
axis frequency response and consistent
off-axis response. This allows the mic
to isolate what you’re trying to pick
up while attenuating sounds from the
sides and rear.
