CLOSING YOUR POOL IN THE FALL
The cover should be checked for any damage that may have occurred
during storage. Reattached all springs. Never raise Anchors prior to
reinstalling your safety cover. Doing so may cause damage to your
safety cover is dragged across raised anchors. Wait to raise anchors
until after your safety cover has been set in place. Do not pull your safety
cover by the paneled material when handling or moving your safety cover.
Always move the safety cover by using the reinforced webbing and
straps. The water level of your pool must remain between 15" to 18"
below the safety cover at all times. Failure to maintain proper water level
will void your warranty.
HOW TO USE THE INSTALLATION TOOL TO INSTALL THE COVER
1.
Once your safety cover has been set in place, use the Allen
Wrench to raise the brass anchors by approximately 1/4 inch.
2.
Slip the installation tool through the round end of the stainless-
steel spring.
3.
Stand facing the pool and place the installation tool over the
brass anchor with the notched end facing the pool.
4.
Using your body for leverage, pull the top of the installation tool
away from the pool, seating the spring on the anchor. (You
may want to gently step on the spring as it slides down the
installation tool).
5.
Twist the installation tool to cause the notched area to line up
with the back of the spring.
6.
Once the spring catches on the anchor pull up on the installation
tool to remove it from the spring.
7.
Repeat for each spring.
TIGHTENING STRAPS
The straps should be tightened in the event the springs are not
compressed, 50% for mesh safety covers and 60% to 75% for solid safety
covers, or if the straps become loose. Loose straps can cause irregular
wear of your safety care and shorten the life of your safety cover

Use the installation tool to remove the spring from the brass
anchor.
2.
Adjust the strap through the buckle by two-inch increments and
reinstall the spring on the anchor making sure that the straps are
snug and springs are properly compressed for your type of
safety cover. (50% for mesh safety covers and 60% to 75% for
solid safety covers).
3.
Repeat as necessary to ensure proper tautness.
