Maintenance
RECOMMANDATIONS
Your dispenser is a category 1 equipment. Therefore, the traceability
shall be preserved all along the product life (manufacturing and
maintenance). Thus, in case a maintenance is required, the unit shall be
sent back to the Dosatron approved distributor who provided it.
When taking the equipment out of the installation, for maintenance at the
distributor, do not use electrical tools and tools which could potentially
generate mechanical sparks. The operator shall be equipped as per the
applicable protocols. The equipment maintenance shall be carried out
according to the best practises defined in the European norme 1999/92/CE.
In general, an annual maintenance should be performed so that the equipment
performances remain optimal. This deadline shall be adapted depending on
the application. In case of questions, contact your distributor.
Do not wipe the dispenser with a dry cloth.
1 - When using soluble products
into solutions, it is recommended
to periodically dismantle the entire
dosing part (see : § CLEANING
AND REFITTING THE SUCTION
VALVE, § CLEANING SEALS IN
THE INJECTION ASSEMBLY).
Thoroughly rinse all the elements
of the dosing part with water and
re-assemble them after having
previously lubricated the seal
(Fig. 11) with a silicone lubricant, in
the case of difficulty in re-fitting.
2 - Before putting the DOSATRON
into operation after a non-use
period, remove the motor piston and
soak it into lukewarm water < 40°
C [104° F] overnight. This helps to
dissolve any deposits which may
have dried onto the piston motor.
